A Brief Team Bio

We started out as a group of friends that just liked to go out in the woods and play some paintball. We weren’t competitive back then, we were just there to have some fun. The summer of 2006 changed everything. We all got together and started playing some backyard woods ball and had a barbeque. The next thing you know we were finding every excuse to play every weekend. The picture to the left shows a group of people we had over one weekend.

Over the course of that summer I started to notice some changes in the group. Equipment started getting nicer, and we were getting competitive and serious. We even purchased a fill station to limit the trips to town to fill out tanks and our field. Little did we know, it was looking more and more like a speedball field.

Over the course of that summer we started actually going out to our local paintball field, OSG Paintball. Playing with other recreational players we learned from observing others and having lots of fun. This was the first time we watched a speedball match. The ride home from the field that night was full of excitement.

At this point, we knew we wanted to play speedball and we wanted our own paintball team. We took what we had learned back home with us and practiced what we saw at the field. Now our field was really looking like a speedball course. We took the rest of the summer and practiced knowing that we had a lot of work to do if we wanted to compete in the speedball tournament that coming year.

In the beginning of the 2007 season we found a new field in Enfield, New Hampshire at Whaleback Mountain’s Zero Gravity Games. They also have BMX, Skate, Inline, Skiing, and Boarding. Becoming friends with the owner, we agreed to host their eight-week tournament series for them. In return we had our first sponsor. Now at the end of the season we are working with Hillsboro Paintball to organize a tournament and possibly a tournament series in conjunction with Whaleback.

During the 2007 season we also attended our first serious tournament at OSG Paintball in Barnstead, New Hampshire. We actually placed 10th out of 21 teams our first time! We were ecstatic with our progress. We are currently 15th out of 35 teams in the series.

In 2008, we plan on playing a five or seven man tournament series. With this in mind we have recruited two new members and friends, Joel Trembley and Aaron Chambers. We met Joel and Aaron while refereeing at Whaleback when they were playing on a team called Paranoid.
